We are proud to announce that RwandAir has decided to initiate a long-term cooperation with ASISTIM Flight Dispatch Academy for the training of their Flight Operations Officers / Flight Dispatchers.
The Crew Control and Crew planning training will take place from June until August at our Hanover Training facility, with plans of Initial Flight Dispatch Training and Refresher Trainings to be followed in the near future.
As RwandAir is the national carrier of Rwanda, ASISTIM Academy will be providing dedicated trainings according to the local Rwanda government regulatory requirements.
ASISTIM will also be keen on providing practical hands-on training at our training facility with the Airline software AIMS for Crew management, which we are currently using at our own Flight Operation Control Center alongside the Academy.
The Initial Crew Control and Crew planning course will be covering topics such as, Flight Time Regulations, rest periods according to the EASA ORO FT regulations. Students will learn the specifics of monthly crew scheduling, task management, checklists, rostering stability statistics and much more.

They have a Fleet size of 12 Aircraft, which consists of four Boeing 737-800NG, two Boeing 737-700NG, two CRJ900NG, two Bombardier Q-400NG all in dual class configuration and two new triple class Airbus A330.
RwandAir is one of the fastest growing airlines on the African continent, flying to over 77 destinations worldwide, serves 2 domestic destinations and 26 international destinations in 21 countries, as of May 2022.
Additionally, with the recent collaboration with Qatar Airways, it will allow RwandAir to reach most of Eurasia, while Qatar can reach most of Africa.
RwandAir is expanding their network in the market and ASISTIM is excited to support their business endeavors.
