A flight dispatcher or flight operations officer is designated by an aircraft operator to control and supervise flight operations. He / she must be suitably qualified to brief and assist the pilot-in-command in safely conducting flights. This is a rewarding and challenging profession that requires not only a good initial skill set but also a defined amount of recurrent training.
